Duration: 6 months
Description:

This job is a member of the Payroll Automation Team within the Finance Division.

Responsible for gathering business requirements, testing, implementation and documentation of payroll and business processes and related interfaces impacting the payroll systems and the general ledger.
6-month contract position with no potential to convert at this time. No H1B candidates.
60% on-site. Interviews will be virtual.
Will be heavily using SAP (HEC) application.

Responsibilities:
• Gathers and documents business requirements related to payroll and business activities
• Analyzes and evaluates information gathered from multiple sources to create documentation, including but not limited to business requirements, process flows, test plans, test scripts and test results
• Assists with developing and performing the testing related to the payroll system and downstream systems
• Represents the department in meetings and through written and verbal communication with internal and external customers
• Assists in identifying and documenting internal controls in support of auditing team
• Some travel required, as needed

•Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-5 years Payroll, Finance or Accounting experience
Experience with in-depth business systems analysis, functional design, documentation, and process modeling
Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related business field and/or equivalent experience/training, including payroll and payroll processes
Working Experience with SAP HEC
CA sick- flight SAP payroll experience
Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
Experience with system design and implementation
3-5 years Payroll, Finance, or Accounting Experience
Experience with in-depth business systems analysis, functional design, documentation, and process modeling
Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks
Experience with SAP Surrounding team/key projects • Pilot Contract • Flight related initiatives
Attention to detail
Strong background in regression testing, implementation experience, and/or UAT testing is preferred.
